Backpacker Guests
Max, Australia
Having travelled to North America, Europe, Asia, South East
Asia and New Zealand to name a few, my trip to Niseko has got to be
one of the most memerable holidays that I have been on. My initial
thought of going to Japan was quite scary as I couldn't speak a word
of Japanese before I left home, Luckily my first stop was in Niseko at
the Shizenkan Backpackers. "BOSSMAN" helped us settle in
quite quickly and his family and staff were extremely helpful with our
questions and any issues that we might have had.
The backpackers is extremely well maintained and the kitchen
and bathrooms are cleaned everyday. I loved those temperature
adjusting toilet seats. Our room was 2 stories high with plenty of
room to leave your gear.
Its one of those places where you want all your friends to come
and visit but at the same time, you want to keep it a secret and keep
the place to yourself.

Accommodation was perfect. Comfortable and clean. Price was
great. I would definitely stay again.
Adam, Japan
The Shizenkan backpacker is a great place to stay. There's a
kitchen so you can cook your own meals. There's also a coin laundry
and coin operated internet access. Downstairs, they have a DVD with a
classic selection of 40 or so videos. It is one of the cleanest
backpacker/hostels that I have ever stayed in. They went out of their
way to make me feel welcome in Niseko. If you are looking for a
comfortable, convenient, and affordable place to stay, I'd highly
recommend the Shizenkan backpacker.

I had a great stay with you and would love to come back. The
hostel was so clean and our room was fantastic.

The accomodation for the price paid was excellent. The place
was clean, provided the essential facilities and the staff were
pleasent and helping. The Bossman picked me up from the bus stop and
help out when we asked. Having english speaking workers (Josh &
Kana) is a good idea and they were very helpful.

I think Shizenkan does a great job catering to many differernt
types of travellers. I don`t really have many recommendations cause
everything was great, totally convenient, had everything I needed.

Out of nearly 30 days riding only a few days were spent
powder-less. It just doesn't stop snowing in Niseko.
I stayed in the backpacker section of Shizenkan. It not only
had excellent facilities and the ability to make you feel like you
were at home, but also allowed me to experience the beautiful Japanese
culture first hand, and to meet people who have become lifetime
friends. The backpacker is run by super friendly staff, who went out
of there way to make this the most amazing trip I have ever been on.

5 weeks in Niseko was the greatest holiday ever, friendliest
little town, great accommodation at Shizenkan, and staff that ended
being one of the highlights of the trip. The amount of powder that
fell in the stay was unbelievable, and there was never a problem with
crowds. |
