It was perfect - the room was big enough and
very clean. the beds were very comfortable. we especially
liked to lounge area where we could buy a beer and sit and
relax after boarding.

You were wonderful hosts and made our stay even
more enjoyable. What a beautiful country Japan is, its people
and the environment. Now that we know how easy it is to travel
there, and how good the skiing is, it will not be long before
we are back.
Mark, Australia
I also would like to say thankyou very much!
My family and I had a wonderful & memorable trip to Japan,
with the high light being that our accommodation was really
good and nice to come home to after skiing fresh powder every
day. I also found that the breakfast at the lodge was a really
good starter for us.

We have the room no. 308 and 310. Both have
two beds, a penthouse [loft] and a sofer. Each room is good
for 4 persons. They are clean and warm. Regarding Shizenkan,
everything are very good. Staff are very friendly. Breakfasts
are good.

Niseko is beautiful, the surrounds, the people,
we loved everything about Niseko. The whole system of shuttle
busses etc was flawless and made moving around very easy.
The snow was great, best I've ever skied.

Having travelled to North America, Europe, Asia, South East
Asia and New Zealand to name a few, my trip to Niseko has
got to be one of the most memerable holidays that I have been
on. My initial thought of going to Japan was quite scary as
I couldn't speak a word of Japanese before I left home, Luckily
my first stop was in Niseko at the Shizenkan Backpackers.
"BOSSMAN" helped us settle in quite quickly and
his family and staff were extremely helpful with our questions
and any issues that we might have had.
The backpackers is extremely well maintained and the kitchen
and bathrooms are cleaned everyday. I loved those temperature
adjusting toilet seats. Our room was 2 stories high with plenty
of room to leave your gear.
Its one of those places where you want all your friends to
come and visit but at the same time, you want to keep it a
secret and keep the place to yourself.

Accommodation was perfect. Comfortable and clean. Price was
great. I would definitely stay again.
Adam, Japan
The Shizenkan backpacker is a great place to stay. There’s
a kitchen so you can cook your own meals. There’s also a coin
laundry and coin operated internet access. Downstairs, they
have a VCR with a classic selection of 40 or so videos. It
is one of the cleanest backpacker/hostels that I have ever
stayed in. They went out of their way to make me feel welcome
in Niseko. If you are looking for a comfortable, convenient,
and affordable place to stay, I’d highly recommend the Shizenkan
backpacker.

I had a great stay with you and would love to come back.
The hostel was so clean and our room was fantastic.
Ivan, Australia
The accomodation for the price paid was excellent. The place
was clean, provided the essential facilities and the staff
were pleasent and helping. The Bossman picked me up from the
bus stop and help out when we asked. Having english speaking
workers (Josh & Kana) is a good idea and they were very
helpful.

I think Shizenkan does a great job catering to many differernt
types of travellers. I don`t really have many recommendations
cause everything was great, totally convenient, had everything
I needed.
Josh, Australia
Out of nearly 30 days riding only a few days were spent powder-less.
It just doesn't stop snowing in Niseko.
I stayed in the backpacker section of Shizenkan. It not only
had excellent facilities and the ability to make you feel
like you were at home, but also allowed me to experience the
beautiful Japanese culture first hand, and to meet people
who have become lifetime friends. The backpacker is run by
super friendly staff, who went out of there way to make this
the most amazing trip I have ever been on.

5 weeks in Niseko was the greatest holiday ever, friendliest
little town, great accommodation at Shizenkan, and staff that
ended being one of the highlights of the trip. The amount
of powder that fell in the stay was unbelievable, and there
was never a problem with crowds.
